An independent registry built so that no verified opportunity ever has to be found by chance.
SCST.in is an independent, privately-run information registry that brings together scholarships, government schemes, jobs, competitive exams, skill-development programmes, higher-education options, funding, and mentorship in one searchable address, built specifically around the needs of SC/ST students, job seekers, professionals, and families across India.
The problem we're trying to solve is a simple but stubborn one: opportunity in India is not scarce, it's scattered. A genuinely useful scholarship might sit on a state department PDF nobody links to; a real reservation benefit might be buried three clicks deep in a ministry circular. SCST.in exists to collect that scattered information, verify it, and put it in one place that's actually built to be searched.
Every listing on SCST.in starts from an official or authoritative source — a ministry notification, a state department portal, an official scheme guideline, or comparably reliable reporting. We check eligibility criteria, benefit amounts, and application details against that source before publishing, and each verified listing carries a Verified badge to reflect that.
Two things we want to be upfront about. First, government scheme details — amounts, income ceilings, deadlines — get revised almost every year, sometimes without much notice. We do our best to keep listings current, but the official source linked on every listing is always the final word, not our summary of it. Second, "verified" means we've checked the details as published; it doesn't mean we can guarantee your individual application will succeed, or that a scheme's terms won't change before you apply. Always read the official notification before submitting anything or making a financial decision.
If you ever spot something that looks outdated or wrong, we genuinely want to hear about it — see Report an error below.
SCST.in is built for anyone who identifies as needing this information — students figuring out their next scholarship, families weighing a housing scheme, job seekers checking a reservation quota, entrepreneurs looking into a business loan, or researchers tracking down a fellowship. You don't need to register to browse or search; an account only exists to let you save opportunities and track deadlines for yourself.
SCST.in is not a Government of India website, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any Ministry, Department, State Government, or the National Informatics Centre. Our visual style deliberately echoes the look of official government portals for clarity and familiarity to visitors used to navigating them — but that's a design choice, not a claim of affiliation. We don't process applications, disburse funds, or make eligibility decisions; every listing points you to the actual official channel for that.
We work with training institutes, NGOs, colleges, and welfare organisations who want their genuinely relevant programmes surfaced to the right audience, and with anyone maintaining an authoritative source of scheme or scholarship information who'd like to see it reach more people. If that's you, write to us at the address on our Contact page with a short description of what you'd like to share — we review every partnership request manually rather than accepting paid placements automatically.
We're a small team and don't always have open roles, but we're particularly interested in hearing from people with backgrounds in policy research, content verification, or community outreach within the SC/ST welfare space. If that's you and you'd like to introduce yourself, reach out via the Contact page — we read every message even when we don't have an immediate opening.
