SCST.in is an independent, privately-run information registry that aggregates publicly available details about scholarships, government schemes, jobs, exams, skill-development programmes, colleges, funding opportunities, and mentors, primarily relevant to SC/ST communities in India.
SCST.in is not a Government of India website, is not affiliated with any Ministry, Department, or the National Informatics Centre, and does not process applications, disburse funds, or make eligibility or selection decisions for any listed opportunity. We are an information layer that points you to the correct official channel — the application itself always happens off our Site, on the relevant official website or portal.
We make reasonable efforts to verify listings against official sources and keep them current (see How verification works), but scheme terms, deadlines, and eligibility criteria are set and changed by the issuing government body or institution, not by us, and can be revised without notice. We do not guarantee that any listing on the Site is complete, current, or error-free. Always confirm details on the official source linked from each listing before applying, making a financial decision, or relying on any information found here.
The Site is available to anyone seeking information about the opportunities we list. If you create an account, you confirm that the information you provide (name, email, phone, etc.) is accurate, and that you're old enough to hold a valid email account and agree to these terms, or that you have a parent or guardian's involvement in creating your account if you're a minor.
You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@scst.in if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Factual information about government schemes and third-party opportunities remains the property of, or in the public domain via, the respective issuing authorities. You may share links to our pages freely; please don't reproduce substantial portions of our original written content elsewhere without permission.
Nearly every listing links out to an official third-party website where the actual application happens. We aren't responsible for the content, accuracy, security, or privacy practices of those external sites — once you leave scst.in, that site's own terms and privacy policy apply.
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SCST.in and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including but not limited to a missed deadline, a rejected application, or reliance on information that later turned out to be outdated — this is why we consistently point you to verify every detail against the official source before acting on it.
You agree to indemnify and hold SCST.in harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these terms or misuse of the Site.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at our discretion, particularly in cases of violation of these terms, without prior notice where circumstances warrant it.
We may revise these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the Site after a change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever we make a material change.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from your use of the Site will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in India.
